The Coaching Education Department, which currently continues its education and training activities within the Faculty of Sports Sciences of Eskişehir Technical University, was first established within Anadolu University as the School of Physical Education and Sports with the Decree Law No. 496 dated August 18, 1993.
With the Decision of the Council of Ministers (2013/5074) published in the Official Gazette dated July 24, 2013, it was transformed from the School of Physical Education and Sports to the Faculty of Sports Sciences and continued its activities within Anadolu University.
It was included in the newly established Eskişehir Technical University with the Law No. 7141 published in the Official Gazette dated May 18, 2018.
